Food insecruity is real and the Our Savior’s Lutheran Food & Pet Pantry offers food assistance at no cost to anyone in need, while always treating our clients with the highest level of dignity and respect.

We are a small facility with a big responsibility. Thanks to the donations of time, food, and money from the congregation and community, we provide food to hundreds of people each month, along with their pets.

Donations

If you wish to donate to the pantry, we accept both food/items donations and monetary donations.

For food/item donations, we will accept any non-expired/non-perishable food,  personal hygiene, or cleaning items.  A list of the most common items that we need can be found here.  On the common items list, you will find items other than food.  This is because food stamps/SNAP will only cover food items.  Personal hygiene or cleaning supplies are not covered, so they are greatly appreciated.

Please contact the OSL office to schedule a time to drop off food during regular business hours (Mon-Thurs 9:00-2:00) or donated items can be placed in the grocery cart located in the main lobby of the church.  Monetary donations can be designated on your regular church giving (if an OSL church member or worship visitor) or by using this link and selecting Food & Pet Food Pantry from the drop-down menu.

Volunteer at the OSL Food and Pet Pantry

We are always looking for volunteers to help us with the pantry.  We need people to help us unload our delivery truck (typically on Wednesdays / times vary each week), restock our shelves, check in clients, pack orders, or enter information into the computer.

To get more information about volunteering, ask one of our current pantry volunteers, or email the pantry at foodpantry@oursaviorscb.org to get connected.
