We all know that we need to pray for others; we also know how much it helps to know that others are praying for us. Comfort quilts of prayers offers the chance to provide prayer and comfort for those in need. Any church member may request prayers for someone, whether they are a church member or not, of any age going through serious illness or other difficulties. A comfort is made by one of our own congregational members and placed in a quiet place of prayer for members to tie a knot and say a silent prayer for the family as the knot is tied. The comfort is then given to the family with a note explaining the significance of the knots.
